  Personality types and religious adherence

  i was going through the personality types of the briggs-myers test (take the free test here) and noticed how some types are naturally inclined to follow rules and expect order, while others are inclined towards feelings and emotional appeals, other are naturally inclined to help out others ... what do you think?

  are there certain basic personality types that pre-dispose the individual to adhere to a certain type of religion ?.

  I took the test twice once quick and then slow (stopped to really think about it) I'm an INTJ in both. Lends credence to the test and the fact that I am not a JW besides being born in.

  Terry I should say that my mother is not totally alone she has the truth and the brothers and my childless brother and his wife and that is it. I feel sorry for her but I don't think she does?

  I do pity them Terry. My 83 year old mother is alone and lost in this cult. Before a couple of months ago I was too busy raising my my familly and securing a life for them and being shunned. I have to be true to myself.

  I like your post's too Terry. You appear from your post's to be about ten years older than me. The sixties were a tough time for draft dodgers and people like you who where incarcerated. I.m from Canada and I'll tell you a little anecdote I was at a small coubtry store when a bunch of draft dodging Amercans showed up and when they left the store my little brother went out and started throwhing rocks at them saying "get out of here you draft dodging hippies!" He is a dub and is still in. The only thing I can think you can be thankfull for is that your still here and not just a name on a wall.

  if you google 'vatican and aliens', you will find a number of references to vatican officials making positive remarks about extraterrestrials - including a few who outrightly assert that they exist.

  in addition, the vatican is interested in observatory time used for locating earth-like planets.. in summary, it looks like they wish to be prepared, come what may.

  when i first came to this site.

  whenever i would try to talk about somethign from the bible that the jw's got wrong or reason on a scripture that had so much feeling you would stomp all over it.

  talking about "flying spaghetti gods" and laugh at what seemed to be my expense and then leave the thread never to return and add any substance.

  You know people even after all these years and everything I've been through I am still technically an agnotisic. I went through my athiestic period. The universe is complex and simple at the same time! Maybe in a million years my progeny will be able to know for sure, and then maybe not.

  How many Governing Body members have secret accounts on this forum?

  how many of them do you think have secret accounts on this discussion board?

  could it be just a couple of the younger ones or all of them or none of them or do they get others to read and post on the forum on thei behalf.

  i saw in a news article that you can hire social media and internet agents to manage your online profiles on your behalf.
